Recently I have started to really get into my skincare and I thought I would share it with you.
To start in the evening I will talk off my makeup usually using a micellar water, the one I have been using at the moment is the Superdrug B.Pure Micellar Water. I really like this as it’s gentle on my skin and even removes my mascara.
Next I use the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser, which I feel like everyone has used at some point. I Really like how this makes my skin soft without making it really oily. This I use everyday and have started to double cleanse since I watched some of Caroline Hirons videos. I have discover that I shouldn’t be scared to hydrate my skin even though it is oily most of the time. Sometimes I will use the biore Charcoal soap bar in the shower to help with acne and the oiliness. This isn’t something I use everyday as it leave the skin matte so can be drying if used a lot. But this does really help with the acne on my back and has made it look a lot less red.
I then use the Superdrug Tea Tree Cleanse and Toner. This is part of there tea tree clear skin range that Superdrug sell and I think this has helped to control some of my breakouts as it’s helps to get rid of excess oil. It helps to purify and tighten the skin while giving me a clear completion. I really like this range and it is really affordable.
As I new thing in my skincare routine I have started using a serum. I was always scared to use a serum as a thought it would make my skin to oily and clog my pores, so would cause more spots, but I have found one I really like. I have been using is the Revolution Blemish and Pore serum. This really helps to take away any redness and is meant to help get rid of marks left behind. This I am not sure on yet as I’ve not been using it long enough to tell.
The last steps in my routine is to moisturise. I recenty started using an eye cream and have been using the Simple Revitalising Eye Roll On. Then I use the liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser for normal to combination skin. I love this! It hydrates my skin without making it oily making it feel super soft.
I hope you enjoyed reading this! Comment below what your favourite product is in your skincare routine??
The Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser is one I still need to get my hands on as it’s a cult classic. That serum sounds awesome and I could do with introducing a serum to my skincare routine too. Thanks for sharing xx
